This is one of the most popular Tomorrowland attractions of all time. The PeopleMover was first opened at Disneyland in 1967 and it was closed in 1995. Rocket Rods replaced it in 1998. That attraction didn’t last long as well. We’ll talk more about it in the future.
Eight years after Disneyland opened it, Disney Imagineers opened another one in 1975 at the Magic Kingdom in Florida. However, they called it the “WED-way PeopleMover” and later in 1994, it was renamed once again the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. The one in Florida is still open today.
Check back later and see which current Tomorrowland attractions in the Magic Kingdom can be seen as part of the PeopleMover tour.

Chris’s Tip Time: FASTPASS
Are you getting sick and tired of waiting in line for the popular Disney Attractions?
Use Disney’s FASTPASS. A free guest service that saves your place in line at some of the most popular attractions like Splash Mountain or select other attractions.
Here’s how it works. Once you enter a Disney Park, check your park map and see which attractions include FASTPASS availability. After you arrive, walk up to the FASTPASS Machine and insert your park admission ticket. Once the green bulb lights up, take your admission ticket out and the machine will print out your FASTPASS. When you receive it, check your pass and see your return time as seen in the picture below.
Please Note: Sometimes, you can get another FASTPASS Ticket before the actual return time. Look at the bottom and see the next available time to get another FASTPASS for another attraction. In this example, the time is earlier than the actual return time.

Carthay Circle Theater
One of the buildings that opened last week at the new entrance of Disney’s California Adventure is the replica of the Carthay Circle Theater. The exact same place where Walt Disney hosted the premiere of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 75 years ago.
The theater in real life first opened in Hollywood during the mid-1920s. It was also named as one of the best movie theaters in Hollywood until it was demolished in 1969.
In June of 2012, Disney Imagineers created and opened their replica of the theater at California Adventure. However on the inside, it’s a restaurant and lounge on the first floor. As for the second floor, it’s Club 1901. Or as the guests call it “The Club 33 of California Adventure”.

Chris’s Tip Time: PeopleMover
If the Magic Kingdom in Florida gets crowded in the afternoon, guests can ride on some attractions that are usually NOT as crowded. One of them is the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. This is one of my favorite attractions. Guests can ride on an small elevated train for a nice relaxing tour around the Tomorrowland area.

DBC’s History Lesson: The Hall of Presidents
Note: DBC Stands for Disney By Chris
For our History Lesson for today, let’s go back to 1993 at the Magic Kingdom Park in Florida.
The Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square was closed so the Imagineers could create and install the Audio-Animatronics figure of Bill Clinton, who was elected President of the United States in 1992.
Disney Imagineers recorded President Clinton’s voice and he became be the first of the U.S. Presidents to provide his own voice for the Animatronics' figure.
Since then, the current U.S. President now provides his/her voice for the Audio-Animatronics figure designed after them. A new president is added every time the People of the United States elect him/her into The White House.
That’s our History Lesson for today!!!!

NEW Entrance at California Adventure
Last week at Disney’s California Adventure, NOT only did the NEW Cars Land open, but the NEW Entrance of the park opened as well.
The new entrance resembles Buena Vista Street in the 1920s when Walt Disney moved to California. It features the replica of the Carthay Circle Theater. In the theater, there’s a lounge and restaurant on the first floor and they have Club 1901 on the second floor.
There’s also the ticket entrance that was designed after the ticket entrance of Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida.
We will upload the photos as soon as we can.
Check back for more information about the Carthay Circle Theater.

C.A.T. (Chris’s Attraction Trivia): Indiana Jones Adventure
Unlike the three different endings in Horizons at Epcot, Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland contains three different beginnings.
Once you enter your ride vehicle, your “journey” begins.
You head towards The Chamber of Destiny. It has three doors, in other words, three alternate paths.
The Yellow Path goes directly to The Treasure Room
The Purple Path gives you The Power to Seek the Future
And…
The Blue Path goes directly to The Fountain of Youth!!!!

Indiana Jones Adventure opened in 1995 inside Adventureland at Disneyland Park in California.
This attraction was created by George Lucas. The man behind Star Tours and Captain EO.
The Guests are welcomed by Indy’s friend, Sallah. The guests are transported inside The Temple of the Forbidden Eye to experience their own adventure seeking Indiana Jones and the lost tourists. Will they find Indy and escape the temple?
This is still one of the most popular attractions in Disneyland’s history.
